Deaf Navratri

Organized by Navratri Navyuvak Mandal for the Deaf and supported by India Deaf Expo, the sun shining on Monday 2nd October saw several deaf people dressed in attractive colors, enjoying Dandia & Garba to their hearts content. Inspite of the heat, the energetic Deaf dancers were never exhausted as they danced for hours on and off the beat of music.

This event was carried once per year for 15 years, but this one was unique because India Deaf Expo invited some celebrities along with media people to support the Deaf and spread the awareness to the public.

Besides dancing and socializing, the participants enjoyed the snacks, waited eagerly for their luck during lucky draws and had second helping of delicious dinner.

Mr. Alok Kumar Kejriwal, Mr. Sunil Sahasrabudhe and I (Mr.Aqil Chinoy) of India Deaf Expo, along with the committee members of Navratri Navyuvak Mandal for the Deaf wish to thank the following celebrities for their attendance and support.

There are two more celebrities who wanted to attend but unfortunately they were not able to do so on account of heavy rain. Still, India Deaf Expo wish to express their gratitude to them:
